Outlook Christian Church seeks a dynamic and passionate Youth Pastor/Youth Director to lead and nurture our youth ministry. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to cultivating a thriving youth community (6 th -12 th grade) rooted in the Christian faith, guiding young individuals in their spiritual journeys, and fostering a welcoming environment for all youth to grow in their relationship with God. Job Description Responsibilities:

• Lead weekly youth services, including worship, teaching, and discipleship activities.
• Mentor and disciple youth individually and in small groups.
• Provide pastoral care and counseling to youth as needed.

Program Development:

• Develop and implement engaging programs and events to encourage spiritual growth, community building, and outreach.
• Organize and oversee youth retreats, camps, mission trips, and other special events.

Team Building:

• Recruit, train, and empower volunteer leaders to assist in youth ministry activities.
• Foster a collaborative and supportive environment among youth leaders, volunteers, and parents.

Community Engagement:

• Build relationships with youth, parents, and the wider church community.
• Partner with parents to support and equip them in nurturing their children’s faith.

Administrative Duties:

• Manage the youth ministry budget and resources effectively.
• Regularly communicate with church leadership and parents regarding youth activities and initiatives.

Qualifications:

• A committed follower of Jesus Christ with a strong personal faith and a passion for youth ministry.
• Bachelor’s degree in theology, ministry, or a related field (theological training preferred).
• Previous experience (2+ years) in youth ministry leadership, demonstrating effective teaching, mentoring, and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to relate well to youth, parents, and volunteers.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and support the church’s overall mission.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in organizing and leading youth events, camps, retreats, and missions.
• Proficiency in using technology and social media for ministry purposes.
• Understanding of current youth culture and challenges faced by young people today.

Additional Requirements:

• Membership or willingness to become an attendee and part of our family atmosphere of Outlook Christian Church.
• Agreement with the statement of faith and core values of Outlook Christian Church.
