Job Description

Tasks:

• Design, develop and execute manual testing to validate software functionality.
• Collaborate with the QA Lead to identify areas for improvement in our QA processes.
• Collaborate with the rest of the development team members to identify areas of improvement in our product.
• Participate in agile development and be familiar with scrum, be involved in estimating and planning the testing activities.
• Understand the functional and non-functional requirements of the system.
• Define, implement and maintain testing plans and test cases in accordance with the guidance from the QA Lead.
• Analyze and report defects and communicate effectively with the rest of the development team to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.
• Stay up to date with the latest testing tools and technologies.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on business applications
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and QA methodologies
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to think critically, solve problems and make informed decisions.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, AX 2012 or similar ERP products is highly desirable.
• hands-on experience with test case management tools such as Azure Test Plans, JIRA, Zephyr Scale, or similar
• ISTQB or similar certification
• A willingness to learn and improve skills in test automation
• Bachelors degree in related field
