About Our Client My client is a 100+ employee specialist in chemical manufacturing producing inks, epoxies and coatings. They are owned by a global market leader in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Looking for someone with prior experience selling to Semiconductor.
Job Description 1. Provide global sales support, collaborating closely with international sales teams, business development, and applications engineering groups to drive new growth initiatives across various markets.
2. Identify and develop new product design specifications based on global market research and diverse customer feedback.
3. Work directly with prospective customers worldwide, interfacing with multinational sales teams and R&D to align product development with global market demands.
4. Deliver comprehensive technical support for key customer applications internationally, including:
- Conducting on-site evaluations and technical meetings at customer facilities globally
- Leading key account evaluation phases before transitioning to commercial discussions
- Traveling to different countries as needed to support customers and sales teams
5. Analyze global market trends and customer needs, disseminating this information within the organization to inform R&D priorities and international sales strategies.
6. Create and present technical content, including sales collateral, posters, and papers for international expos and conferences.
7. Develop a deep understanding of cultural nuances and business practices in various global markets to enhance communication and relationship-building with international clients.

The Successful Applicant - Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science or Materials Science is a plus. Any engineering / technical degree will be evaluated.
- 5-8 years of industry related experience in sales or engineering
- Role in a technical sales capacity - app engineer, sales engineer, etc.
- Ability to take complex engineer challenges and deliver them in a comprehensive manner.
- Active Listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times
- Social Perceptiveness - Being aware of others' reactions and understanding why they react as they do
- Reading Comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents
- Writing - Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
- Time Management - Managing one's own time and the time of others.

What's on Offer Location: HQ is in greater Boston area. Role is 100% Remote
Salary: Commensurate with experience but $140,000-160,000 base + bonus
