This involves applying HR best practices and devising strategies in line with the company goals and objectives. In addition, this role will assist the HR team by handling and providing support for various HR functions within the organization. Supervisory Responsibilities None Essential Duties Actively engage and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and department leaders to strategize and provide assistance in the full-cycle recruiting process. Stay abreast of new trends in recruitment to hire best in class talent. Develop and expand a strong candidate pool through sourcing efforts such as internet job boards, networking, referrals, job fairs, scouting and cold calling. Partner with hiring managers to develop, write, and update job descriptions to accurately reflect current roles and responsibilities. Strategize and maintain partnerships with vendors to lower time to fill and meet budget requirements. Expand employment branding through partnering with marketing, community engagement, and business development. Establish and foster strong relationships and collaborate with colleges and universities. Maintain human resource information system (HRIS) and compile recruitment statistics and reports from the database as needed. Perform a wide range of duties relative to the maintenance and processing of personnel records and reports. Build rapport with new hires through the recruitment and onboarding process. Conduct new hire orientation and ensure employees complete new hire paperwork. Partner with Sr. HR Generalist to conduct exit interviews, compile data and provide recommendations for organizational change. Revise and maintain employee handbook policies to reflect employment law updates, ensuring alignment with external regulations and internal requirements. Assist in other areas of HR including benefits, performance management, and employee relations. Submits online investigation requests and completes new-employee background checks. Performs other related duties as required and assigned. Remains cognizant of and adheres to Andrews Federal policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act. Attends work regularly and according to work schedule, limits absences according to personnel policies regarding leave usage. Interacts with co-workers, supervisors, members and outside contacts in an appropriate, professional manner which projects a positive image of the department and Andrews Federal Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 3 to 5 years of experience in recruitment and candidate sourcing experience. Ability to perform duties with minimal direction. Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills are required. Meticulous attention to detail. Ability to effectively present information, both in one-on-one and small group situations Strong working knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws. Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Proficiency in all Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required. Working knowledge of MS Teams communication and presentations. Physical Requirements Requires the ability to sit at a desk and computer for extended period of time.
