Description


We are looking for experienced Box Truck Drivers to join our company. You must have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and be familiar with surrounding neighborhoods. A commercial driver's license (CDL) is not required for this position. Your job duties will include loading, unloading, and physically transporting materials and additional items, operating a box truck, and cleaning and maintaining equipment. Our field operations expect their materials to arrive within a specific time frame, so you must be able to work independently and manage your time well.

Box Truck Driver Duties and Responsibilities

• Drive a delivery truck on a predetermined route and schedule
• Deliver or pick up items as instructed
• Load and unload vehicle as necessary, able to routinely lift, up to 75 pounds.
• Document deliveries and log shipments into tablet
• Report discrepancies during delivery.
• Locate and drive vehicle to multiple job sites on trip ticket.
• Report any vehicle issues during deliveries.
• Follow DOT regulations

Salary

Benefits
Life, Health, Dental, and Vision after 60 days. Paid vacation and holidays after 90 days. 401K with company match when eligible after 1 year.

Position Requirements


Box Truck Driver Requirements and Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Valid DOT Med Card
• At least 21 years old
• Ability to lift and physically carry materials 75 pounds and up through active construction sites with uneven surfaces (at least 30 feet)
• Ability to sit for at least seven (7) hours a day while driving to and from construction sites
• Work independently and manage your time well
• Must pass a background check and drug test
• Excellent communication skills
• Trucking or warehouse experience a plus
