Electrical Controls Engineer

As an Electrical Engineer supporting a program for the US Navy, you will be part of a software development and in-service support/sustainment team. This team is transitioning to an Agile-based release and deployment environment, focused on developing and supporting a Machinery Control System software suite and network for maritime products. You would work a 9/80 Schedule with 15-20% travel required per year - potentially up to 1 week at a time to various locations inside the United States!

Skills & Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Computer) from an ABET accredited college or university
• 2+ years of professional experience as a systems, electrical, and/or electronics engineer
• Hands on experience with mechanical or electrical troubleshooting
• Ability to read schematics
• Experience with PLC (Ladder Logic) programming, installation and troubleshooting
• Experience in Linux and/or Windows operating systems
  
  

Plus

• Knowledge of CMMI
• Experience with Agile workflow, preferably through JIRA or similar application
• COMPTIA Security+ (Will be expected to complete certification within 6 months of hire)
