Job Title: Duct Cleaning Technician

Job Description: UniproAir Heating and Cooling is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Duct Cleaning Technician to join our team. The Duct Cleaning Technician will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining HVAC duct systems to ensure optimal indoor air quality for our customers. This role is essential in helping us provide high-quality service and maintain customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough cleaning of HVAC duct systems, including vents, air ducts, and registers.
• Use specialized equipment and techniques to remove dust, debris, and other contaminants from ductwork.
• Inspect HVAC systems for cleanliness and report any maintenance issues to the supervisor.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with industry standards and company procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and explaining the cleaning process.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
• Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in HVAC maintenance, duct cleaning, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.

Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to work in confined spaces.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with HVAC systems and cleaning equipment.

Work Environment:

• This position involves working in various residential and commercial settings.
• Must be able to lift and carry equipment and materials up to 50 pounds.
• The role requires standing, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
• Some travel to job sites is required, with company-provided transportation.

Compensation:

• Competitive hourly wage based on experience.

Schedule:

• Full-time position with a standard workweek of Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
• Occasional evening or weekend work may be required based on customer needs.

Location:

• Based in Jamesburg NJ 08831, with travel to various job sites within the service area.
