We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team. This position will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of our construction projects from start to finish. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget, while adhering to high standards of safety and quality.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all stages of project life cycle, managing construction activities and coordinating with various teams and stakeholders.
  • Implement and maintain all necessary construction operations, ensuring adherence to plans and specifications.
  • Ensure all safety protocols, including OSHA 30, ICRA, and ISLM procedures, are strictly followed on the construction site.
  • Manage project scheduling, identify potential issues or delays, and implement solutions to mitigate risks.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Lead and manage site teams, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and innovation.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for project-related queries, providing regular updates to project stakeholders.
  • Implement risk management processes, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Provide first aid and CPR in emergency situations, ensuring the safety and well-being of all site personnel.
  • Utilize problem-solving skills to overcome project challenges, ensuring the successful completion of the project.
Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Certified in OSHA 30, first aid, and CPR.
  • Working knowledge of ICRA and ISLM procedures.
  • Proven experience in project scheduling and risk management.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using construction management software and tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Physical ability to work on a construction site, including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in a variety of weather conditions.
