Responsible for overseeing the Connections Ministry administration, execution, and strategy through (Discover Victory, Water Baptism, and New Believers) at our North Cobb Campus. Our purpose is to help people grow closer to God, connect to and within their Victory community, and discover the plans that God has for them in their discipleship journey. To oversee all aspects of Pastoral Care at the campus level, liaising with central team and other campus counterparts, to ensure campus awareness and alignment with global policies, procedures and processes .

You are part of one team taking ownership and responsibility for the care and keeping of this house. You stay willing and eager to serve in big and small ways, from welcoming guests to picking up trash.

CONNECTIONS

• Recruit, strategize onboarding process, implement training, and manage department teams and communicators.
• Coordinate, schedule, and conduct trainings, team meetings and activities.
• Setup, maintain inventory and distribution of supplies/materials for Connections Ministry classes and events.
• Responsible for the content of all Connections communication materials including but not limited to (My Journey Form, Discover Victory, Serving Signups, Baptism Materials, New Believer materials, etc.).
• Assess current practices in Connections and look for areas of improvement that best communicate the vision, mission, values of Victory.
• Responsible for ensuring the maintenance of the Connections Board in the Rock System and aim for accuracy in reporting information, data entry analyzing deemed vital information for Central Connections Pastor Ministry & Campus Pastor regarding Baptisms Numbers, Salvations/New Believers, Discover Victory/Membership, Nationalities, Statistics, etc.
• Work with the IT Departments to develop new and improved methods of maximizing the Rock for reporting.
• Work with Ministry Directors & Team Leaders to integrate New Team Members onto their Teams.
• Oversee the processing of requests made throughout ministry (written and electronic) through mailings, follow-up calls, etc.
• Establish Connections Ministry goals and objectives by prioritizing related programs, planning, overseeing and stewarding appropriate ministry budgets, evaluating, and reporting progress regularly to the Campus Pastor and Central Connections Pastor.
• Coordinate and implement systems for the effective post-process and follow up for Department classes, events, and initiatives.
• Assess the status and needs of the congregation and work strategically to direct them to resources and classes
• Handle eSpace reservations and submit marketing ticket requests regarding any new projects, updates to social media outlets and websites.
• Check and follow through for all emails and phone call support.
• Record / Distribute Meeting notes, maintain team folders, files and documents and update Project Management software accordingly.
• Organize Ministry calendar and reconcile credit card statements monthly.

DISCOVER VICTORY
Oversee the administration and execution of Discover Victory to help connect new members into Victory as well as serving on a team.
Ensure that the content and experience is consistent and aligns with global vision for Discover Victory

• New Believers - oversee the process and follow-up to encourage spiritual growth and connection to New Believer (NB) and Small Group (SG) community; create structure of Small Group Teams to assist, grow the ministry and partner with New Believers individually and with-in Adult Ministries.
• Water Baptism - oversee the strategy and flow of the water baptism process to ensure global alignment. Collaborating with other teams to carry-out plan for all water baptisms events.

PASTORAL CARE

• Oversee Pastoral Care including, but not limited to, Biblical Guidance, Financial Assistance, Care Teams, coordinating teams for Weddings, Funerals and Hospitality Care for the VNC family.
• Connect regularly with Central Connections and Pastoral Care Teams to collaborate, maintain vision, and ensure alignment of updated policies and training.
• Recruit, Train, and develop staff pastors and ministry teams for the purpose of pastoral care and biblical guidance.
• Provide, and oversee Biblical Guidance sessions for congregants.
• Provide and oversee Financial Assistance Requests process, triage, and follow-up.
• Utilize pastoral care resources to support ministry pastors, Department Heads and Victory Ministry
• Leads with care resources and protocols,
• Coordinate Minister on Call schedule for Campus for daily onsite pastoral care point of contact.
• Manage Care Team lobby presence as an extension of Campus Pastors as needs arise in lobby area for weekend services.
• Create and assemble funeral teams when need arises, oversee, support, and follow up/debrief services as well as follow-up and care for the family

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
3+ years’ experience in a pastoral/leadership role, supporting teams, serving leadership and/or project management experience.
Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
Flexible schedule (available evenings and weekends)
Reliable transportation to travel between campuses
Project Management software experience
Proficiency with Mac and Office 365 environments
Event scheduling programs such as Planning Center Online, Eventbrite
